Robert Aubrey Bishop
Robert Aubrey Bishop, born Sept. 4, 1931, died July 15, 2012, in the arms of the love of his life, Janie Woodall.
He was born in Hollywood, AL to the late, Jones HowardBishop and Evie (Precise) Bishop. He graduated in 1950 from Hazel
Green High School. While trying out for the CincinnatiReds, he was drafted in the Korean War, where he served in the US Navy
1954 until 1965, He worked at AEDC as an Engineer and graduated MTSU with an Engineer Degree. In 1965, Aubrey moved to
Houston, TX and worked at NASA Johnson Space Center where he was involved in many space missions, such as the Hubble
Telescope, he designed the worlds largest vacuum chamber to simulate space for training astronauts. The American Flag that is
on the moon is designed by Aubrey.
He is preceded in death by his son, Aubrey Bishop, brothers, Jones Howard (Bish) Jr., Roy (Cotton) Bishop, sisters, Freda

Sammy Ray Jernagin, 54 of Scottsboro, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Funeral services were held Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Hollywood Baptist Church. Bro. Johnny Mayes and Bro. Tim Rayburn officiated. Interment followed in the Johnson Family Cemetery.
